Project Title: The influence of Vietnamese traditional painting’s illustration style to the tattoo perception Category: Illustration Lecturer: Nguyen Tuan Nghia Graduate Year: 2021

Introduction
For a long time, tattoos were looked upon as barbaric, and it was common to tattoo the body of Yakuza to mark them as such. My targeted audiences are young generation and adults who have negative perception about tattoo. First of all, I want to remind young generation of traditional painting art and how get combined with tattoo. Secondly, I would like to provide a new perspectives to adults who look at tattoo under negative eyes. Hence, the project “Muc Viet” illustrates tattoos inspired by a genre of Vietnamese traditional paintings.
